He is active and out there, pulling people away from the One, True God. But we Christians seem to be taking our sweet time, not at all burdened or hurried to share God's redemption with our neighbors. I don't know if we assume everyone has heard of Christ by now, or whether we figure someone else will share the gospel. Or if we don't actually believe God when He says that it is only those who believe in His Son who will be saved. Maybe it's that we just don't care about anyone else...
